Advancing Intelligence for Caregivers Across Long Distance Environments
AI-CARE is an Erasmus+ project focused on developing a non-formal educational framework to introduce (remote) caregivers, and healthcare professionals to AI in health and care, empowering them with knowledge, tools, and skills to enhance independent living, personalised care, and well-being.
The project aims to:
- Increase digital literacy and awareness among remote caregivers by providing accessible training on AI-driven health technologies, enabling informed decision-making in health and care.
- Build the capacity of healthcare professionals and remote caregivers to understand, utilise, and advocate for AI-powered solutions in monitoring, early detection, and personalised interventions for ageing-related health challenges.
- Foster cross-sectoral collaboration among healthcare providers, technology developers, and policymakers, creating an inclusive and sustainable ecosystem for AI applications in elderly care.
- Enhance knowledge exchange and innovation by promoting best practices, real-world case studies, and research-driven insights on AI’s role in improving independent living and long-term care strategies.
